When I recorded the very first episode of The Wedding Buzz podcast, I had no idea where the journey would lead. In 2023, Delightful Planning Weddings & Events was still in its early stages. I had launched my business only a few months before, and although I knew I loved weddings, I was still discovering exactly what kind of planner I wanted to become. At the same time, I wanted a place where I could share my thoughts, connect with other wedding professionals, and help couples feel more confident throughout the planning process. That vision became The Wedding Buzz.
100 episodes later, The Wedding Buzz Podcast has taught me SO MUCH about weddings, business, and genuine connections. This podcast has become so much more than I ever imagined and I hope you tune into this 100th episode, which has been such a milestone for myself and for Delightful Planning as an event planning company.
The Wedding Buzz Podcast Grew Alongside Delightful Planning
When I first launched The Wedding Buzz podcast, my wedding planning business looked very different than it does today. At that time, I focused primarily on wedding coaching and education, helping couples navigate the planning process from a virtual perspective. As Delightful Planning evolved into a full-service wedding planning and wedding management company, the podcast naturally evolved alongside it. There was more to discuss and dive into as my own services grew and evolved.
Looking back now, those episodes have become more than conversations, they’ve become a timeline of growth. Each recording captures a different chapter of my life, my business, and my journey as a wedding planner. Every episode reflects new lessons, experiences, and opportunities that have shaped who I am today as a person and as the business owner and lead planner of Delightful Planning. The Wedding Buzz podcast allowed me to process so much of what I was doing, the process, and how to move the business forward.

A Podcast That’s More Than Wedding Planning Advice
Although The Wedding Buzz centers around weddings, it has always focused on something even more important: people.Over the past 100 episodes of The Wedding Buzz Podcast, I’ve had the privilege of sitting down with photographers, DJs, planners, venue managers, florists, designers, entertainers, hair and makeup artists, and countless other talented professionals who pour their hearts into creating unforgettable wedding experiences.
Some guests became friends through networking events. Others inspired me long before they ever joined the podcast. Still others reminded me why collaboration remains one of the greatest strengths of the wedding industry. Every conversation reinforced one simple truth: The wedding industry isn’t built by timelines or checklists. It’s built by people who genuinely care about celebrating others and the the Wedding Buzz celebrates those professionals and that community.
Conversations That Create Community & Wedding Buzz
One of the greatest gifts The Wedding Buzz podcast has given me is the opportunity to ask questions I might never have asked otherwise. Thanks to The Wedding Buzz, I’ve connected with incredible event vendors from across the country, including professionals I met at Wedding MBA in Las Vegas and industry leaders whose work I’ve admired for years. Those conversations rarely stayed focused on weddings alone. Instead, they expanded into discussions about entrepreneurship, leadership, burnout, creativity, client experiences, business growth, vendor relationships, and what it truly takes to build a sustainable career in the wedding industry.
Those honest conversations continue to remind me that every wedding professional has a story worth sharing.
Looking Back on Wedding Buzz Opportunities
As I prepared for Episode 100 of the Wedding Buzz Podcast, I found myself revisiting older episodes and reflecting on everything that has happened over the past 3 years. What surprised me most wasn’t simply the number of episodes, it was the number of opportunities that grew from saying “yes.”
Through Delightful Planning, I’ve had the honor of planning weddings for incredible couples at beautiful venues, including: The Pelican Club in Jupiter, Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, The Ben in West Palm Beach, and even Enchantment Resort among the breathtaking red rocks of Sedona, Arizona (view more past Delightful Planning weddings on our blog).
I’ve also attended unforgettable events at iconic destinations like The Breakers, The Colony, and The Eau Palm Beach, while looking ahead to celebrations at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale and The Grand Bohemian Greenville. Each venue represents a couple who trusted me with one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

Success Happens One Conversation at a Time
Running a business often feels like living inside an endless checklist. You answer emails, build timelines, coordinate vendors, solve problems before anyone else notices them, record podcast episodes, edit content and then you wake up and do it all over again. Due to that constant momentum, it’s easy to overlook how far you’ve actually come.
Preparing for Episode 100 forced me to pause.Instead of focusing on what still needed to happen, I finally celebrated everything that had already happened. That perspective reminded me that meaningful businesses don’t grow overnight. They grow one client, one relationship, one conversation, and one intentional decision at a time.
Behind Every Wedding Buzz Episode Is a Real Person
One of the most personal realizations while preparing this episode came from watching older videos. At first, I laughed as I noticed every hair color I’ve worn over the years, then I realized something much deeper: every version of myself appears somewhere in those episodes.
Some recordings happened during exciting seasons filled with growth and opportunity, Others happened on incredibly difficult days. There were moments when life felt heavy, yet I still walked into the studio, sat behind the microphone, and kept creating. That realization didn’t make me sad, it made me proud.
Building a business doesn’t require perfection, it requires consistency. I’m proud that I kept showing up and kept learning. Most importantly, I’m proud that I continued finding my voice.

This Is Only the Beginning of the Wedding Buzz
Reaching 100 episodes of the Wedding Buzz podcast feels like an incredible milestone, but it doesn’t feel like the finish line. Instead, it feels like the beginning of an even more exciting chapter.I want The Wedding Buzz to continue growing as Delightful Planning grows, and to continue highlighting talented wedding professionals.
I want to continue sharing honest conversations about weddings, business, trends, leadership, creativity, and everything happening behind the scenes of this incredible industry. Most importantly, I want every episode to remind couples that they don’t have to navigate wedding planning alone.
